Nicole Tomoda-DeMaderios is one of the elite stylists and educators in the beauty industry. She has been formally cutting hair since 1989 and her work is critically acclaimed by cients and peers alike. In 1994 she joined Vidal Sassoon and quickly rose through the ranks, by becoming a Stylist Educator in 1995, followed by a promotion to Assistant Art Director in 1997, where she was responsible for teaching both the San Francisco and Los Angeles Academies. That same year, her creative talents earned her an invitation to represent the company at London's Fashion Week. In 2000 Nicole added Assistant Manager to her title requiring her to take charge of not only the creative direction and education but also the operations and overall profitability of the salon.
Throughout Nicole's career, she has taken pride in facilitating and creating education programs for young promising stylists. This love for teaching and learning prompted her to further her education at the Bumble and Bumble Academy in New York, before accepting the position of Director of Education at another high-end salon in San Francisco.
In 2004, Nicole decided to be an independent contractor, which led her to the opening of Noe Valley Salon in 2006.
